Another (very quick) update

As of yesterday, we have a place to live. We've rented an apartment and will be moving in on Saturday. As well, I'm back at work, part time for this week and beginning full time next week.

I'll post more once we get our computer and internet connection up and running.

  1. What wonderful news! I am so happy for you all. You must have been so worried before, I can't imagine how it must have been. But all is well now, and that's great. Just in time for the Holidays too.

    Take care. :)

  2. I have been thinking of you and praying you'd be settled soon. I will continue and hope that the upheaval soon is righted and you are both happily employed and breathing sighs of relief.

P.S. I'm using the little needles you sent to try to knit little socks! It's working! still a bit fiddly, but I taught myself the two circ method for my child size 4 sweater, so felt safe in trying it with sock yarn and little 16s! :) Thanks for sharing and may you be well blessed with the sharing of others!

  3. I'm happy to hear you'll be settled in and secure again. This was an awful experience but at least it will be over in time for the holidays.

Continuing to send good thoughts and prayers.

  4. Excellent news! Not perfect, but not bad, all things considered.

Hugs honey - never underestimate the power of crossed fingers!

  5. Oh, I'm so glad to hear that you have a place to live and things seem to be working out a little better now!
We miss you a lot, and Trinity keeps asking if we're going to visit you! (She loves you both a lot!) Well when you get all settled in, give us a ring! Love you lots!

  7. Dear Ev, I just came over to check out how your move was going and was just flabbergasted to hear about what happened. I am so glad things are beginning to work out.

  9. Glad to hear things are a bit on the brighter side at this somewhat stressful time of year. Got home last night after successful knee surgery in
Abbotsford, glad to have that over with.
